: First of all, Saturday is the Sabbath, not Sunday, so what would I be doing in church on Sunday. Do you worship Constantine and the Pope or "the word of God"? Maybe you need to do some Bible readin'. Saturday is the seventh day of the week. We are to rest on the seventh day - that's Saturday.....hello....

Yup, Saturday is the seventh day of the week. However, Jesus was ressurected on Sunday, the third day since his crucifixion. Jesus' ressurection is the most important thing Christians regard. Because He was ressurected like he said he would, we know for sure there is a God, and we have hope that he will make good on all his promises. That is why most Christians attend church on Sundays. Many Christian churches also have services on Wed and Fri nights. God does not care what day we attend church, it doesn't make a difference, as long as we're there.

: People that don't go to church probably don't have a relationship with THE CHURCH, but the bible tells us to have a relationship with God (or was it Jesus?),

Same thing

:not with a brick building. You can tell the difference, can't you? Think real hard now. God tells us in the Bible that he is everywhere at all times, so that pretty much obliterates the necessity of going to a specific location, doesn't it? If you need to sit on a hard wooded pew and sing really terrible songs or be bored to tears by an anal retentive, senile preacher, then yeah, you need to go to church. Perhaps you're confusing the preacher of God with God himself. Ask your preacher if he is God? Maybe that will clear it up for you. Or take some bricks home with you and make a little dog house sized structure in your backyard that you can go and sit in every Sunday or Saturday or whatever. Feel better?

I never said that going to church would save you, I'm sorry if it seemed that way. What I am telling you right now is that any Christian would want to go. Plus, God wants us to go. At church we can fellowship and encourage other believers, we can blend our voices in song and worship, and we go because it is the pastors,or ministers, job to preach the Word to us so we can learn. Believe me, I know that the church building is not holy so you dont have to tell me.
