: By the way, Terry, go to www.veg.org/veg/People/famveg.html
: There's a list of HUNDREDS of famous people who are vegetarians.

whatever.....an acre of prime land can produce 40,000 pounds of potatoes, 30,000 pounds of carrots, 50,000 pounds of tomatoes or 250 pounds of beef. think about that.
something else to ponder...take a newly born calf from his mother. chain him by tha neck to a wooden stall barely larger or wider than his own body with only a bare slatted floor to stand on. do not allow contact with other calves and donot allow him to ever see sunlight. feed him a liquid "milk-replacer" diet deficient in iron twice a day. inject dangerously high doses of antibiotics an sulfa-drugs. butcher at 16 weeks of age. this is milk fed veal..this is wrong..all this to feed you..whatever..poor calf...bad you
