Plants are dead. When you eat plant your body becomes a plant graveyard. If you try to feed the world with just plants we will all end up in the graveyard well before our time. This is a fact there in not enough usable land to produce enough plants to feed the world. Much of the rangeland used to feed livestock can not be used to produce crops.
