Here's what I've got to say to you:

1. We DON'T tell you what to eat. You are completely entitled to your own food choices. What us vegetarians do is try to educate people on a different type of eating lifestyle, and we practice what we preach.

2. People have always eaten meat, yes, but not ALL PEOPLE have always eaten it. From the beginning of time there have been people who have chosen to abstain from eating flesh. Plato... Jesus.... Einstein.... many great and ANCIENT people were vegetarians. Meat is NOT essential to a healthy diet. In fact, meat RUINS a healthy lifestyle. It causes heartattacks, strokes, obesity..... many diseases which not eating meat will help prevent.

3. You are sadly misinformed if you think vegetarians don't get enough iron and protien. Spinach, carrots and other dark green and orange fruits and vegetables are PACKED with iron. Iron, which, unlike the iron compounds found in meat, are very easy to digest and absorb. You think we have a protien problem?! Think again, my friend. : ) Beans, legumes, etc., are full of iron. No problem there!

4. I cannot believe you are asking what will happen to the animals.
Hel - LO?!?!? They will live! I doubt there will be an overpopulation due to NATURAL increase and decrease in the animal populations. The only reason there are so many animals on earth right now is that they are artificially and overly bred to produce even more meat for you savages to eat. If the meat producers would just let the poor animals breed naturally, all will be right. And when the time Has come for these animals to die, THEN you can skin them and use their hides to keep warm and decorate your floors, or eat them ( although the meat may be a little tough ). Trust me and the rest of the devoted vegetarians in this world, the planet's population would have NO problem getting enough food. In fact, the WHOLE world would be able to eat just as well as the industrialized and established countries such as Canada. No more starving, dying children in Sri Lanka.

Terry, the above statements are FOOD for THOUGHT. I suggest you CHEW on THEM for a while. ( And stop chewing on the animals! ).
