: : Here's what I thought of when I read that; During the Viet-Nam war it was the leftists who were blowing up buildings on college campus' and blowing up draft offices, and blowing up corporate headquarters and inciting violence in ghettos. The left will and has used violence when ever it suited them. Marx advocated it's use to attain political goals. Lark may not be old enough to remember Nam, but I know full well what the Left can do. Has done.

Why dont you mention the Badder Meinhoff, the IRA, the INLA, the PLO, the Angry Brigade, the Red Brigades instead of just the Weathermen, which I believe your refering to here.

The fact is that pointing to acts of violence as though it invalidates the debate is a load of rubbish, what if I where to say what about the Klan, what about Stormfront? It wouldn't advance to cause of anti-facists or anti-capitalists at all. There's been violence all round deal with it, then there's the violence of a system that inflicts pain upon working people etc.
