Some companies make crisps out of swedes

Some companies make crisps out of swedes, my father's for instance (who claim to be the biggest swede growers in Europe)tried to make swede crisps but they went soggy as soon as they were put in the mouth, so they never came off. I have seen packets of root vegetable crisps on a train though.
