: There is much more to this case than animals. Animals are important but all should be done that needs to be done in order to save humans, should be done at all costs. In the last note posted that I read, the person who had written it said something like "you don't see animals testing their cosmetics on each other." Well, first of all we are not animals. Second of all, if we are not able to test cosmetics on animals then how are we to produce the large quantities of cosmetics that we are able to. If we lost the right to test cosmetics on animals than workers from Avon or other cosmetics suppliers may lose their jobs, and that means less money for the average worker. It means that they might not be able to support their famalies. that means more welfare. All of this because we cannot test cosmetics on animals.
It is also a proven fact that because of the right to test medicines and vaccines on humans that we are able to save many lives. If we hadn't tested the polio vaccination on animals than many children and famalies would be killed. Many diabetics would be dead. So if I had to chose animals over humans than I would say that I would rather kill one million animals that have to here about another human death.
