I would like to comment on the effects of aspartame. I have been drinking diet coke for ten years and I am a very high strung nervous person I thought it was the caffien in the coke that makes me nervous until I read about nutra sweet being poison and many of the side effects listed I hav or are experiencing now. Heres the bottom line I am addicted to diet coke so aside from the fact that it is poison I am addicted and cant quit drinking it I get cotton mouth so bad immediately if I dont have it. Plus a terrible craving just like I have for cigarettes. So there is something addicting either in the aspartame or in the coke. Which is it? I am going to die if I dont quit drinking that horrible crap but I so far cant do it. None.
