at 'my mcdonalds' we filter daily... we have the new frymaster units w/ semi-automatic filtration (built-in). I works awesome. We change oil based on demand. Usually the experienced like myself (+2 yrs) can tell when to change it based on appearance, food quality. (less than 14 days elapse between changes) None.
