Most corporations are to some extent corrupt and socially irresponsible. Some of these clowns, though, actually produce useful and necessary goods, and so I can see some justification for dealing with them. I'm not condemning anyone for their behavior. It is just that I simply do not understand why a reasonbly intelligent human would choose to do something like ating the "food" that McDonald's serves. I will not deny having ever eaten at fast food places. When I was a child fastfood was presented to me as normal and healthy, and I continued that habit for a long time before I started really thinking about my actions. And so when I see someone engaged in what I beleive to be unreasonable behavior, is that person just continuing a chidhood habit or do they have a justified reason for doing so that is perhaps incomprehensible to me. In the case of McDonald's, I find in unlikely that any such reasons could go beyond "convenience".

What makes you think Bill Clinton is my hero? If you hadn't noticed, politically speaking I am a leftist. Good'ol Bill and his party and the other one are all pretty much in the center. Because of my anarchistic tendencies, it is unlikely that any politician would earn much in the way of respect from me, especially not the "leader of the free world". And why exactly does the free world need a leader?
