F: An 8 hour day is something it appears we have to fight for again.

TD: I'd love to do 8 hours a day. I feel generally stressed about the demands on my time. And there is always so much to be done at work. I can never be in a position to sit back and enjoy that feeling at the end of the day that I have got everything done that I set out to do. Very often I take work home, but by that time I'm too exhausted to even enjoy my family. I'll be honest, I resent how much of my time work eats into. I am a lot more assertive when it comes to saying no to something I know will eat into it even more.

F: maybe... just maybe have one of our hecklers join the fight. That great saracasm of yours would be a wonderful tool against those who are keeping the rest of us miserable for their profit margins.

TD: I don't think I'm quite ready to be a card carrying member JUST yet thanks ! My big issue is that I don't think you (the IWW as an org) really get inside what makes people tick, why they act or behave in certain ways. Everybody's motivations are different, not everyone views a situation in the same way, yet you guys would like all workers to see the light, and join forces. My argument is that because we all vary so much in our individual desires and motivations it is unrealistic to expect everyone to suddenly fall into step on the same issue.

: Flint: May I suggest Hotmail.com?

TD: Thanks, I'll give it a try.
