Do you have the power to fire and hire?

TD: I've got a boss. But Qx didn't think I was a worker. Funny that, isn't it ?

Qx: Actually not TD. The distinction is to be seen in whether or not one has the power to fire or hire. If you've exlained whether or not you have that authority I haven't seen it yet . So the question is do you have the power to fire and hire?
