For years, McD's had a feud with Coca Cola, and consequently, in a fit of corporate pique, decided to manufacture their own "product". It was truly disgusting, and I can remember as a crew member, great emphasis was placed on informing EVERY customer who ordered "Coke" that we had "McDonald's Cola" otherwise the customers and Coke would probably sue us. So that meant EVERY order nearly, we had to say it. AAAaaaaargh ! That was one multinational alliance noone would be complaining about ! None.
