Just sharing my experience, feedback welcome

I just finished my last shift at a US McDonald's today after 1 and a half years of employment. When I first started working, I found the job to be easy, as our head managers were easy to get along with and very understanding. However, a few managers and crew persons expected the new employees to know procedures on their first shift, and would usually become angry if asked to explain something. But I weathered through this and kept on working.
Things soon changed at my restaurant. We had several changes in management, and things took a turn for the worse. Now I was experiencing long shifts, frequent burn injuries, working on an understaffed shift, harassment from customers, etc. Every time I worked, the smell of grease would make me so sick to my stomach that I couldn't eat for the rest of the day. I soon learned to hate fast food and to this day will not eat it unless I have to.
Even today, my experience was terrible. We had a crew rally today, and the people who went to the rally were scheduled to work that day. The manager never had any of their shifts replaced and we were twice as busy as normal with a grossly understaffed shift. My fellow employees were denied proper breaks and were only alotted 10 minutes to eat in an 8 hour shift.
I truly sympathize for all McD employees, as the working conditions are terrible and the job is super stressful. I especially sympathize with all crew trying to support a family on their petty wages. Mimimum wage is not enough to keep oneself, let alone support a family. Raises in our store usually come with the federal minimum wage act increases. It's funny, our store alone makes over $2 million in profit a year, yet they seem to not be able to afford raises for their crew. What a lovely American Dream.
