During my working life at McDonald's in the United Kingdom, I worked for the Company 4 Years, I can only describe 95% of the managers in these places as 'Bullies'. I was once suspended without pay on Christmas eve for questioning a desicion made my a 19 year old floor manager who had been in the company 6 months.After a week of suspension I returned to work without any form of verbal or written waring, after conatacting Head Office i was told I could place a complaint but it would be advisable not to as my Area manager would probably make my life more miserable than it already was. I left 2 weeks after this and never looked back. The 19 old manager is now 23 and still working in the same restaurant.
