: How is it McDonald's fault if you can't handle work by the sounds of it McDonald's is the one who is in need of pitty. Surely you have spoken to your store manager about not recieving a break on an 8 hour shift and if this got you nowhere surely you spoke to employee relations. If a junkie came into my store and started abusing anyone I would not hesitate to show it the door and escort of the premise.Did you complain about wearing a headset??

>>>>>It is common practice to not give a full break if any to workers if it is busy/understaffed (almost all of the time) to anyone but minors. There is NOTHING a worker can do about it. And as far as harassment from customers goes, if a customer is rude you have to put up with it, that is that. If a customer gets abusive, however, it is procedure to get the manager and he/she will handle the situation from there.
