: : Not sure if they can do that. Sometimes when i was working i'd kinda joke or kid around with crew members and speak french or something. Nobody ever complained. If a Customers complains, that might be a differnet story.-------------

: Well today c in front of customers because they might be offended, as far as I know no custoimers have complained. He also said it was not illegal. Does any body know if its illegal or not?

I'm not sure if its the same in the States, but here in Australia one of the employment conditions is that you can only speak English whilst working in a McDonalds store. Any person caught speaking a "foreign" language (ie; not English) will be given a warning sheet.

Its a stupid rule but then again, its McDonalds so what do you expect? =)
