: : Hi everyone! Anyone noticed my absence? I'm in Scotland just now, and working at McDonald's here. My experiences working with 2 McD's has been good. I have great managers at both stores, and no reason to complain. Anyway, I'll be back home in 3 weeks and be able to post more.

Hell on earth could be one way to describe maccas in Australia. I used to work in a really strict one about two hours north of sydney.
-not being payed for working late on closes
-being lied to my managers regarding their policy
-manager taking away my Crew trainer status because I dared tell a student emploly they dont have to (according to policy) work late during the week
-being either sent home or forced into unpaid breaks when they over roster
-being 'white slipped' for arriving 8 mins before my shift because you are supposed to get there 10 (unpaiiid) minutes before
-girls allowed to park their car in the lot at night but not guys because it is a 'safety issue' fore them
-girls never allowed to work in the kitchen no matter how good they are
etc etc
needless to say, i have a new job..but hay guys..it looks great on the resume!
bahh
