Wouldn't be the first time. In many non-U$ countries, when popular forces decide to attack multinational corporation, McDeath is always the first target selected. During the Balkan War, several McD's outlets in Greece were leveled by bombs planted by anti-Nato forces. They targeted McD's as a symbol or U$ domination of the world more than for its own policies. Similarily, McD's is always the first to go when rioters hit multinationals anywhere in the world. In Seattle, the "Black Bloc" or anarchist protestors hit a number of corporate outlets, such as McD's, Niketown, and Starbucks. Since very few people knew about Starbucks buying up ALL of East Timor's coffee crop, Starbucks got all the media, and the smashed-up McDonald's was not even considered newsworthy(it must happen so often).
Since McD's has a reputation as a domestic sweatshop and abuser of labor(as well as a clearcutter of rainforests, animal torturer and globalizer), animal rights protestors can do things there that would never work anywhere else-becuase McD's in considered by so many ordinary people to be only slighty better than a fur shop. If McD's gets it, its not "those crazy vegan cultists," its "I used to work there and they deserve it."
