Often when I am on a break, the store may suddenly get very busy. I'm not a cold hearted git, I am compassionate enough to help out. BUT I always make sure I clock on first. YOu will only get payed for the times you are clocked on, so make sure that you are. If you come accross a manager who wants you to work any length of time without being payed threaten to take the issue to employee relations. None.
