I hate to play Devils Advocate, especially for a store like McDonalds or BurgerKing (Hungry Jacks in Oz), but I have heard some positive feedback from workers. Besides the excellent team work they get involved in, I have chatted to some ex-employees who have moved on and sensed that they did gain a lot from working in these stores. A sense of responsibility, a beginning wage that certainly taught a sense of monetary worth, given they were not paid that much. It was surprising from the 2 or 3 people I have chatted to, and others they have talked to, the amount of positive worth they came out with. Its like any job when you start off, its a beginning, and just getting it improves your own self-worth. I can only site 3 people for sure though, but its not all sour grapes. None.
