McDonald's and Walt Disney Records Kick Off National Fundraising Promotion at Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House.

To Feature Live Musical Performance by Original Disney Character Voices

4560 Fountain Avenue (directly behind Children's Hospital of Los

Angeles)

WHY: The "McDonald's Celebrates Disney Music" fundraiser will run from

May 30 - June 19, featuring the sale of three customized Disney

music collections on both CD and cassette. Fifty cents from every

purchase will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities to

provide comfort and care to children and families around the

world.

This fundraiser marks the first significant fundraising effort

toward fulfilling the Charity's $100 million commitment to fund

programs for children and their families over the next five years

announced at the recent Presidents' Summit for America's Future.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:

* Live musical performance by several original artists featured on the

McDonald's Disney music collections:

- Jodi Benson, "Ariel" - The Little Mermaid

- Richard White, "Gaston" - Beauty and the Beast

- Roger Bart, "Hercules" - Disney's 35th animated feature film

- Paige O'Hara, "Belle" - Beauty and the Beast

* Guest appearances by favorite Disney friends, including Mickey Mouse,

Cruella De Vil, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh and a parade of others

* Presentation to Ronald McDonald House by second graders from

Blessed Sacrament School in Los Angeles
