You are fairly accurate in that assesment of my position.

::: Please go on and explain your opinions. From what I've been able to tell, your sentiments about homosexuality and homosexuals is one of "love the sinner, hate the sin." Also, I guess you think homosexuality is wrong for 2 reasons. Firstly, it is "promiscuity", since it is not biblically condoned marriage. When asked to use other yardsticks, I believe you claim it is "perverted" (meaning not natural.) Beyond this, all I've picked up is bountiful pity for the poor, misguided homosexuals, who you claim are hurting themselves. Can you shed further Light on these opinions of yours, if indeed they are what you believe?

You are fairly accurate in that assesment of my position. You've managed to characterize my opinions as coming well shy of the gay-bashing KKK skinhead. Thank you.

I have two sisters, both of which have had relationships with gay men. My mother also has a lifelong friend who is homosexual. The details of those lives I will not make public for scrutiny. I will only suggest that I know them all well and that none of them are proud or boastful of their sexuality.

I also spent 10 years working in lithography and then advertising. The trade was structured to allow a craftsman to work many jobs. In that time I worked 19 jobs, most in West L.A., Hollywood, Studio City, and Burbank. The two jobs in West L.A. left me, a young hetrosexual male (btw - that's the absolute first time I've defined myself sexually) a distinct minority. The other places listed all had very obvious populations of homosexuals. Those jobs, due to the trendiness of the ad business allowed flamboyant characters of all sorts into it - not the least of which were homosexual men and women. I have had much personal contact with homosexuals. I venture to say more than most.

Having homosexual urges might very well be common to us all to some degree. It is confusing and disorienting if the urge (temptation) is powerful. Acting on those urges typically causes guilt. Guilt forces rationalization or poor self image. Rationalization is manifest in the flaming, in your face acivist using shock tactics and hyper effeminant behavior. Poor self image was manifested in all the non-flaming homosexuals I ever knew. Not a happy person in the bunch. If forced to characterize the common element among them I would say it was true desperation. Sorry if that appears as a judgement but judgement also includes sentencing. I couldn't sentence a gay man or woman to hell. If hell exists that is God's decision. All the same, I'll not abide teaching children that homosexuality is good. My experience says it is certainly not good.
