I maybe didnt thank you for that link yet, thanks, cheers.

: How do you define "Christian"?

Interesting one that, I suppose it means something of a matter of faith or belief by definition. It has recently become a definition like gentleman, among some folk. (gentleman used to mean the aristocracy regardless of behaviour or pleasantries etc. but changed to mean simple behaviour and pleasantries)

: According to my records, I'm Church of England; which is what we call agnosticism here in England. I last went to church when I was 7 (19 years ago).

Well I dont think going to church etc. is that important (hear the heretic speak!)

: I don't know whether a God exists; I don't have any way of finding out.

True, as the cynic says "I dont know if there be any Gods but there should be"

:I try and be generally pleasant and helpful to people not because I'm afraid of damnation or looking for salvation, but because it's the way to having the most community respect and friendship among my peers; a society based on mutual respect, tolerance and co-operation.

: I also do it because I was brought up to do it.

True again.

: Is that Christian?

Now that I think about it I was probably wrong, anyway it doesnt change the weather.

: Gideon.

: (doesn't this belong more on the Anything Else board)

More than likely.
