: Hey, it's what CS gas was originally developed for; not for "chemical war" but for quelling dissent.

Exactly, note that the US and Israel are in the forefront of the development of non-leathal crowd control 'merchandise' they must see stormy days ahead...

: Nothing so planned; it was one of the blue Transport Police Transits; and wasn't occupied. About 500 riot police tooled up to the eyeballs surrounded about 200 protestors and started getting physical and the van happened to be caught up in it; it wasn't so much a "you can't run us over now" as "you left this thing here, so since we stand bugger all chance against the stormtroopers there, we'll smash this 'un up instead". Gesture-of-defiance stuff, basically.

That's the business, anyone for braveheart? 'They may take our lives, but they'll never take our FREEDOM!!!!'

: The SWP were certainly out in force, from what I saw.

Sickening isnt it, they're more inclined to juvenile fisticuffs than any anarchist, I suppose that's what comes from listening to sermons from Trotsky all day you get that bored you have to knacker something for a bit of relief.

: Farinata.

Cheers, Farinata. Is that a girls name? Are you a girl?
