: In my universe, all of the little stores around us are being closed to make way for another Walmart in our fair city.How come all the people rush to shop there to get 'more for their buck' due to the discounted prices? 'Blame' them for wanting to spend less time and money by doing all their shopping in one go.

Minorities are not united because they don't all agree with eachother, so now you wouldn't have a majority - you'd have lots of infighting.
They'd still shop at Walmart though.
