: And here we cut to the chase; Those who support Communism/Socialism create out of whole cloth definitions to suit their purposes while dismissing the definition that others have. Their right, we're wrong. End of discussion.

No, let's open the discussion...

: The solution is force, violence when and as necessary. Why? Because capitalists have 'forced' proletariats to sell their labor to them. How can that be? Well, apparently because people have to work to eat and it is somehow wrong for people to provide their own means of providing that food for themselves.

The underlined section is where you go astray, Frenchy. Workers do NOT 'provide their own means [of production] of providing that food for themselves'---the capitalist class owns the means of production.

You, too, can own some of the means of production.

By working for it---on terms dictated by the capitalist class.

: It becomes a 'class' struggle only because Marx says so. In real life people are free and should be free to make their own decisions and live w/ them.

: Envy is very unbecoming.

The deal is: work or starve.

If the means of production were NOT monopolized by a minority class, then the struggle (for survival) would be between you and mother nature.

Since the means of production ARE monopolized by a minority class, the struggle (for survival) is between you and them.

Get it?
