What is wrong with death penalty

What is wrong with death penalty? Well, if a man ( or a woman) kills a person or two, should he then be killed by the government. Where shall the killing stop. In Norway we does`nt have penalty`s like that, and tank god for that. It`s nothing else but cruel to execute a person, no matter what that person has done!( or not done....) And i have a question to people wholive in countries with death penalty`s: Has the sosiety been better from having executions as a part of the law system? I think not...You can`t fight violence with violence! Comeradely Anita.
