democracy of more than one is dictatorship

It doesnt really matter where it comes from, if other people can decide and enforce an action with which the subject does not agree its a defacto dictatorship. This differs from rich men buying all the bananas and 'denying' the opportunity to buy them to the other fellow, the difference is in the dynamic - the lack of coercive enforcement.

: Every criticism you have of democracy etc. is fantastic but then you and your collegues seem to then suggest that the market is best because it meets need democratically etc.

thanks, its because it *doesnt* become democracy in the above form that I tend towards a support of private property and free association.
