Gee: I dont know Daddio, first you accuse the state of being a terrible malevolent force then you call for the equivalent of 'state control' in cyberspace.

DADDIO: Uh, excuse me? When did I call for such a thing. I merely suggested that your needs might be better met in another venue and that THIS debate room might serve a higher function if there were more than two people participating in it. It was a logical suggestion based on how you are using this forum. It was not a call for you or Red Deathy to be banned or even regulated. Frankly, I generally find your posts interesting, relevant, and topical, but so numerous that I suspect others have dropped out or not bothered posting here at all because they don't want to be invisible microscopic blips on the Gee/Red Deathy radar.

Nor does my OTHER post call for your abatement - although I suppose you could make such an inference. Note that a repair to the bugs in this forum's software would also have addressed my basic complaint in this post.

I believe I have accused the state AND private enterprise of being terrible malevolent forces. Your domination of this room perfectly illustrates the problem with both: Private enterprise allows people to horde resources for their own private exploitation to the detriment of others whereupon "others" are forced to impose collective controls over those resources to ensure reasonable access to them thus creating a police state atmosphere.

Go ahead and hog all the space you want. I'm just saying I think it kind of sucks and I'll always wish I and others could get more of a word in edgewise. And yes, if a limit of 10 posts per thread per day were set in here, it would have my support (and I'd be damned sad for having to support it). Perhaps you've forgotten what its like to get shoved aside by somebody else's selfishness.
