Blair was actually attacking socialists within his own party

You can complain about this but I can't really say I'm a socialist without people getting the wrong impression and this is NI where people boast that they are, or where, working class and don't get aggitated about taxation.

I hear it's worse in the US where saying your a liberal, never mind a socialist, is dispicable associating you with amorality and statism, which isnt fair.

I mean just look at Frenchy's scratch a liberal and you'll find a facist remark.


P.S. I think Blair was actually attacking socialists within his own party with the Progressive Vs. Conservative remark, he likes to think he's progressive because he trusts capitalists and wants a cuddly libertarianism instead of the harsh reality of Thatchers community bashing police state and "free" market.
