I'm sorry, could you explain this to me again? How is he wrong?

He's got coupons that say they are good for one per customer, no?
Doesn't his daughter constitute "a customer" as well as himself and whoever else was with him? Do coupons generally say "one per PAYING customer" or just "one per customer". I haven't used a coupon in a long time but I'm pretty sure they use the latter wording. A quick survey of the room I'm in right now agrees with me. Even if they say the former and the money he handed them belonged to both him and his wife then aren't they both "paying" and aren't they therefore both "paying customers"? That's "paying customerSSSSS", as in "more than one".

In either case, did the coupon say that the drive-thru was an exception to the one per customer or one per paying customer rule?
I seriously doubt it. I've never seen such a stipulation on a coupon before - but then again I don't STUDY coupons for a living.

Also, I've been listening to drive-thru speakers for years reciting our orders back to us as "order #1 is ....... order #2 is ....... order #3 is ..... Is this correct sir? Thankyou, pull foward please." Have you been going to some "special" McDonalds where they refuse to take seperate orders if you are in a car? That seems rediculous.
