: Do you know the address to complain to McDonalds? That was my original intent but all I could find was this page.

: McSpotlight: This isn't really the right place to post such messages,

Why in hell not? This message reinforces what you've always said, that McD's sucks. Not only do they falsely advertise, encourage rainforest destruction, and operate as part of global capitalism, we now know they don't give two shits about customers either. That's the takehome message Linda.
Here's my own story- a couple minutes ago I got up, tangled my foot in my computer wire, knocked my keyboard on the grpound and now my space bar is broken. So it goes...

McSpotlight: It's a bit of a grey area; such a post would really belong in a McDonald's complaints room (which this ain't) - the original poster was quite right to look for a McD's-run address; I sympathise with his frustration at being unable to find one, which is why I made an exception in his case. However, in general this isn't a place to discuss one-off precise cases; it's more a room to debate the general issues. That's not to say we don't make the odd exception; we do.

You're right; it does highlight a failing of McDonald's. However, we get a *lot* of these posts; if we were to accept them all, the "debate" in the Debating Rooms would get outweighed by the complaints. And the "Complaining Rooms" doesn't really have the same ring to it...

If only McDonald's were a bit more mature and acknowledged customer complaints, instead of trying to pretend that they didn't exist, our job here would be a whole lot easier.
