Yeah, McDonald's sponsors a lot of community events, but so do a lot of other people, so do a lot of other companies ... and to McDonald's, community service is no drama, no big financial loss! It's just a drop in the overall bucket of greed- and part of the entire "wholesome" image they are trying to promote. McDonald's work is so high profile- and what does that mean for them? Publicity!! that's right...A lot of other people who donate to charity don't rant and rave about it, they just keep it silent, keep a low profile and don't benefit financially from it by having their logos emblazoned one every Netball team's water cooler or every old man's colostomy bag.

You know how McDonald's has served billions and billions? Well they're up to their fourth cow! (Boom, tish!)

In Australia, you may have heard of a guy who died while touching a live wire while working at McDonald's. Now McDonald's has to pay the family about half a million dollars because it was found to be negligent under the workplace health and safety laws. No compensation to the family though.
