You need lots of information

: My very close friend just got food poisoning from something, and the only thing she ate during the day was a McDonald's Crispy Chicken sandwich. I am not one of those "sue" happy people, but when and if the tests come back saying it was food poisoning, would it be appropriate to file a law suit against McDonald's?

The first thing you need to know is what sort of food poisoning your friend had (i.e. salmonella). That's because some types of poisoning take 24 hours to manifest, thus taking McDonald's out of the loop. Your suit will be dificult to prove without lots of this sort of information, but it's possible McDonald's will simply open their checkbook to avoid the hassle

Best Of Luck,

Hugh Morris
