: Perhaps this person received their food, checked it, and found that it did have a Garden Wrap on it, yet inside was the wrong product - a Chicken Wrap.

What the person said was,(and I am quoting word for word) "I recently was given Chicken McWrap instead of the Garden McWrap I ordered. As usual I checked the wrapper to confirm this..."
That is saying that this person checked the wrap to confirm that it was a chicken wrap. If what they meant was that they recieved a chicken wrap wrapped in a veggie wrapper they should have said something like "I recieved a veggie wrap and checked the wrapper to confirm this but it turned out there was chicken in it." If you say that you recieved a chicken wrap and checked the wrapper to confirm this (those are thier words)and continued to eat it, that is giving the impression that you knew it was a chicken wrapper but ate the sandwich anyway.
