As a Wal-Mart associate, I am sure that the company has adequate reasonings for their actions. However, I believe that you are dead wrong. I live in a small rural town of about 8,000 people. Our 56,000 square-foot store has been serving our town and all the surrounding communities of less than 1000 people for 17 years (since 1981). Wal-Mart hasn't moved around in this area for about 20 years, so whatever the case might be for your town, it doesn't represent the philosophy of Wal-Mart nationwide.
