: For 5 months now, I've been getting paid $5.75 at this Mcdonalds I've worked at. I've been there for two years. Well we had a general manager who left the store in Oct. Now are owners are saying the general manager who gave me the raise up to $5.75 did not approve it with the owners. This has been on my check stub for 5 months now, and since the owner "just found out" they are cutting my raise along with 5 or 6 other people's raises. Is this possible?

It is legal, what they are doing so you can't take any action against them, however it is highly immoral. As long as your getting over minimum wage it is legal. The owners of your store seem to be very greedy and your best bet is to look for a job somewhere else, maybe even another McD. A decent owner or manager would never have given you a pay cut.
