I worked at McDonald's when a poor mature student about ten years ago, doesn't seem as if it's changed at-all. I've NEVER been anywhere so awful before. At the age of 26 I was talked down to by 16 year olds and treated like dirt by most of the staff apart from those (like myself) who were only there due to being desperate for the money. I've never worked so hard before & yet made to look like such an idiot. I will NEVER go into a McDonald's again. The managers also bully the staff & the ridiculous 'star' system is only there to humiliate those who cannot pass the tests. The organisations is there to 'train up' young hitlers!!!!!! I stuck the job out for about three months. The only positive thing that came out of it was that it taught me to appreciate everywhere else I've worked since & also to have respect for people. In a work situation I would NEVER speak to people as if they were dirt, whatever level they were at. None.
