have been.

Q. She represented The Vegetarian Society, which is a member
of The National Food Alliance.
A. Did she?

Q. I am asking you.
A. Did she?

Q. Did she?
A. I do not recall a meeting to which she came.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Director of Youth Education and Campaigns.
A. I am aware that other members of The Vegetarian Society
have come to quarterly NFA meetings. I, personally, do not
recall Miss Gallatley coming, whether she did or not.

MR. RAMPTON: Do you know her?
A. I do not. I know of her, but I am not aware of ever
having met her.

Q. Does The Food Commission publish anything besides a
quarterly or maybe half-yearly magazine?
A. That is its main publication. It occasionally
publishes more detailed reports to the reports that it
publishes in The Food magazine. For example, it recently
published a report on low fat foods, which was an extensive
report, more extensive than could be reported in the
magazine. It makes those available at a cost.

Q. This document, what you have called Advertisers' Dream, was
published by The National Food Alliance, not by The Food
Commission, was it not?
A. That is right.

Q. The submission to the ITC (to which we were turning our
attention to this morning) is also made by The National
Food Alliance, and not by The Food Commission?
A. Yes.

Q. What else does The National Food Alliance publish?
A. I think I made reference to some of the other projects
that it is involved in. From the project that I am
involved in, and obviously know best, it has published
Responsible Food Advertising, the second report we have
been talking about.

Q. That is what I called the submission to the ITC.
A. Sorry. I thought you meant the correspondence.

Q. No. I meant the actual submission.
A. Right. This is also a submission to the ASA. That is
what confused me.

Q. Quite right. So it is. I beg your pardon. Has it
published anything else of that nature?
A. On advertising?

Q. Yes; advertising in general, television advertising,
advertising to children?
