Day 080 - 30 Jan 95 - Page 49
MS. STEEL: Are you aware of any changes?
A. No.

Q. You are not?
A. No.

Q. The main thing I noticed was the change in directors, but
it may be -- I do not know.
A. That would not be the reason for re-issuing it. You
see, specifications are being updated all the time.

Q. Right.
A. There will be a very small point in here somewhere I
would say if there are two additions, and there are two
additions in this folder. What it is I do not know off the
top of my head, but there might be a very minor change.

Q. If you do not actually know it perhaps does not matter.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I do not think you are being asked to read
them over.
A. I cannot find any difference.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Ms. Steel has it mind that there was a faxed
one which might be different. You are merely being asked
to recall if you can remember any change apart from the
E.coli Addendum ----
A. No, sir.

Q. --- since the revision in October 1991.

MS. STEEL: Right, but if a small change was made it could
still be called the October 1991 revision?
A. Yes, until there was a major redrafting.

Q. How much beef does Keys buy in? Do they supply a lot of
your -- sorry, are Keys a subsidiary?
A. They are a separate company. They are not a
subsidiary.

Q. Were they ever part of your company?
A. I mean, in business terms they are connected because
there are mutual directors.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do you have a shareholding in Keys?
A. Yes, sir, but there is a separate management. They are
run separately. There are separate cost centres. It does
not supply very much of our beef.

MS. STEEL: It does not?
A. It does about 2,000 quarters a week.

Q. 2,000 quarters a week?
A. Yes.

Q. You are not a majority shareholder in it?
A. Yes.

Q. You are?
A. Yes.
