Can owners take back a raise

For 5 months now, I've been getting paid $5.75 at this Mcdonalds I've worked at. I've been there for two years. Well we had a general manager who left the store in Oct. Now are owners are saying the general manager who gave me the raise up to $5.75 did not approve it with the owners. This has been on my check stub for 5 months now, and since the owner "just found out" they are cutting my raise along with 5 or 6 other people's raises. Is this possible?
