That is a gross generalisation, and hardly worthy of reply. However, because I am bored I will elaborate. I have been at Maccas for over four years and along with uni, friends, and family, I see it as a part of my life. Not only because it takes up so much of my time, but because I am actively involved in the success of the store, and count its crew among my closest friends. It is so ignorant to assume that any one who actually enjoys working at McDonald's "has something wrong with them" - on behalf of the millions of managers and crew people like myself, I find your comments insulting. You are obviously only a beginner; one of those lazy crew people who leave after a year or two to look for a less challenging job. Well I feel sorry for you, Leah, because your negative attitude will only see you end up in a second-rate career earning second-rate money. Sure, the pay is the main reason I work there, but HELLO, that is with ANY job. If you dislike McDonald's so much, go work somewhere else - I'm sure KFC or Pizza Hut would be glad to accept such a short-sighted and bitter bimbo like yourself.
