The reason that there are two different rates of pay for crew and lobby hostsis that due to the fact they are out on lobby and working infront of the customers and working with customers is more important than any other position, eg. training squad, admin assistants, lobby managers sometimes more than Floor Managers, atleast you do not have the split rates of pay. None.
