The latest McDonalds TV campaign raises an issue the burger giant might be better advised to avoid.

MEDIA NEWS

A voiceover saying "This is how long it takes a plumber to earn enough to buy two cheeseburgers" is followed by a two-second clip of a plumber studying a water pipe and sucking air through his teeth. This is then followed by the "Two cheeseburgers for 99p" close. There's also one featuring an estate agent.

Presumably McDonald's won't do one showing how long it takes one of their own employees to earn enough to buy two cheeseburgers, since the ad would be 15 minutes long.
