The Cursing Canoeist

Am I the only one who finds this law to be one of the most offensive things I ever heard? I simply cannot believe the gov. can try to control the specific words you can and cannot use. And how nausiating was that couple whose precious children were subject to the evils of that man and his bad language? I couldve vommited when I heard that phony, prissy fool of a woman tell the court that she actually covered her two year old childs ears (and wouldve covered the five year olds but he was on the other side of the conoe) in an effort to shield them from hearing the "offensive" words. What an asshole. First of all a two year old and a five year old child have absolutely no clue whatsoever what the word fuck means; for all they know the word could be japanese and they never would even have questioned it. The mother was an ignorant fool for even drawing attention to it. Its not my job to raise your kids. You chose to have them so its YOUR job to teach them what you feel is right or wrong. You have NO right to tell me what words I can and cannot use in public. I say if you dont want your kids to hear me curse then you should keep them home, where you can sufficiently brain wash them, away from others where they might learn to think for themselves. And lets assume that the children knew exactly what the word fuck meant; so the hell what!?! An intelligent parent would simply explain that they think its more appropriate to not use those sort of words and that there are better words to use to express yourself- end of scenerio. I challenge anyone to provide actual, factual data which might show exactly how a child would, in any remote way, be scarred, damaged, changed, or hurt by the mear act of hearing a total stranger utter a sound which the child most likely cannot comprehend. Good luck.
