: Oh my, oh my.

: See, Sam? This is one of the biggest problems that I have with what is loosely termed the left. It would be far easier if you just cut to the chase and said, "You don't believe exactly what I believe.

SDF: No, JD, I've already responded to this objection. You don't have to be a socialist, you could even be a "moderate liberal" as the oligopoly media define it, to recognize that the One-Party System requires the forfeiture of your conscience every time you vote. You could even be a member of the Christian Coalition and recognize that your support for the Republican Party was being wasted by "moderates" within the GOP, to recognize the SAME THING. So it isn't your beliefs that matter to the argument I'm presenting, it's the fact that they don't matter at all if you vote Democrat or Republican.

: You don't do exactly what I do. You don't support every method I support, so you are wrong. You are a faux-leftist and you're Party card is going to be revoked!"

SDF: Actually, JD, this was the scare tactic MDG was pulling on ME, that if I didn't believe in his folklore and vote Democrat, Shrub was going to win the election and the "moderate" Supreme court (and Roe v. Wade) would soon be history.

So, since I've already rebutted your complaint about sectarian garbage, this complaint looks rather superfluous to me, since your friend MDG is pressing me in pretty much the way you accuse me.

I continue to stand for the right to vote one's conscience, a right you will refuse as long as you vote Democrat.

: I've no time for that kind of "solidarity."

SDF: I've no time for solidarity with people who profess to principles while doing nothing. I'd rather spend my time with activists in a democratic setting.

Ctulthu for President: Why settle for the lesser evil?
