: Thinking requires energy, brains use up a lot of energy - even ones that are...erm...less creative, but less than active muscular work, or the combined effort to make machines from an idea into reality - but the thought is the birthplace for all those other things. So intelligence is the most efficient form of labor I know of, and the root of all production, all wealth.Hmmm, materialist and idealist at the same time- my point was that you can never 'wear and idea out' in the same way you can a lathe. Ideas are the immenance of welath, labour makes it real.

Not if teh other owned the lathe and machinery, etc. And plus- IT WAS JUST A SIMPLIFIED MODEL FOR BOB'S SAKE!!!!! ;)

Really, not so, see my point about surviving, growing,a nd attracting investment, etc. profits become an end in themselves.
