: : SDF: Socialism by Marx's standards has never been implemented before. If it had, you'd have seen an industrialized society somewhere on the planet that did away with money and the state apparatus.

: Afraid to confront the murderous past of your beliefs, huh?

SDF: Non sequitur. Leninism is not my belief, yet you insist on tagging me, and everyone else who doesn't believe as you do, as a Leninist.

You are following Goebbels' tactic: "Everything repeated three times is true." Now (to use your tactics, and to repeat your fallacious line of reasoning) Goebbels and his friend Hitler and their friends, they really taught those Commies a lesson! And they were good capitalist pigs to boot, directing lots of business to the national industries and all, pulling their country out of a depression! So whose murderous past is it?

: I am sorry but sweeping it away by saying "we have all heard this before" just doesn't square with me.

SDF: Not only have I heard it before, I've refuted it before. You weren't paying attention.

: Do you think the past revolutionaries thought differently than you? Of course not.

SDF: Bzzzzt. Wrong again. I'm a Green, we're an electoral political party, we run candidates, we're not the same.

: After they got rid of the previous form of gov't, the new one had to have so much power that they created a monster they did not foresee. Don't make the same mistake!! Use history as your guide.

SDF: We're all way ahead of you there.

: Sweden and all the "third way" countries are simply warmed over socialism repackaged and marketed to unwary citizens. The economics will be disastrous you can already see the signs in europe and canada.
High unemployment and low productivity.

SDF: MUCH less poverty, illness, illiteracy, infant mortality, crime etc. than in the US.
