I am talking about freedom of choice, which is slowly eroded wherever McDonalds goes.

McDonalds is responsible for homogenizing and destroying local cultures in other countries. We do not mind McDonalds, as long as it does not come to our shores. You Americans can eat their disgusting food, but why torture us?

My dear American friends, can you imagine if France had a powerful fast food company that came to the shores of America and offered a cuisine that is so alien to yours. At the same time its presence had the effect of driving local burger restaurants out of business. How would you feel then when the tables are turned?

Its fine to have a certain kind of food available. If there were a few outlets of McDonadls in Paris, that would be fine. But when someting so foreign like McDonalds invades ever little village in our countries, and tries to shove themselves down our throats by using our innocent children, ofcourse we are upset!

Over here if I have to go for lunch to a self service restaurant, I have no where else to go apart from McDonalds near my office. They have killed off the competetion by offering cheap burgers. I am talking about freedom of choice, which is slowly eroded wherever McDonalds goes.
